Hi everyone! :wavey:

We wanted to post a reminder about our signature size rule for those of you who may not have seen it or may have forgotten.

Please refrain from using ultra-large signatures, large signatures can cause the pages to load very slowly for members on dial up and can be generally annoying to others. Your signature should fit in the box shown below (500 x 175px), if your signature is too large we may ask you to either re-size it or remove it. The box below is large enough to accommodate one standard sized banner and a few lines of text.

Posted Image

You may have one line of text displayed up to a size three font. All additional lines of text need to be standard sized though you can use bold or color in your text if you would like to. :) **note that text should also fit inside the box and should not stretch all the way across the page

We would like to now amend the rule to exclude any glitter graphics, anything that might be flashing or moving etc. Too much of that on a page can make it very hard to focus on a conversation and it also causes pages to load very slowly for our members on dial up. You will be allowed to have up to two of the smaller sized smileys in your signatures, larger smileys will be removed if they are too distracting.

If your signature does not conform to the guidelines we would ask that you please adjust it. If you aren't sure if your signature is in compliance with the rules please PM any of the Moderators. If we see any signatures that don't conform to the guidelines after Monday March 17th we will either delete them or adjust them accordingly.

Thank you everyone and let us know if you have any questions.

Jen :)

PLEASE! feel free to adjust/remove anything in my signature that doesn't meet the rules!!

i am VERY 'computer challenged' and don't mind at all when someone just goes ahead and does something instead of trying to make me understand what all that gobbled-gook instruction means! LOL!!

Things have changed! Now you click on the little triangle next to your name on the top right of the page. You'll see a drop down menu, pick "my settings" from it.
