So my brother in law is getting married and I told him I would do some work for him as his presents. Free of charge, I would pay for mats and everything.......big mistake. Well 2 months later I am finally done with 9 rings, 1 necklace and 1 bracelet. whew! I still have one necklace to make but it is a thank you for MY mother for doing the embroidment on 200 napkins for the rehearsal dinner at my request because I planned that for them since my husbands mother is under a lot of pressure since the wedding is at HER house. So without further ado the 3 Rose rings......(There will be many posts)

Lovely organic feel to the rings - like when you wrap the "vines" around the ring shank!

They are actually just gifts for the bridesmaids. The Bride actually opted to not wear any jewelry since her dress had so much embellishment on it so she wanted her bridesmaids bare too. These are just her "thank you for being my bridesmaid" gifts

Thanks everyone, these were by far my fav to make. Each petal is hand cut and formed. I developed my own little system for making them and soldering the petals together. I definitely want to make this a line I make.

lol about the manicure!

They're all beautiful and I really like the concept of wrapping a vine around the shank. Those are some NICE bridesmaids gifts!

Nope each petal is cut out of 28g silver with a disk cutter and formed by hand. I have a cone carved into my firebrick to nest the petals in place while I solder them. A little technique I have perfect now having to make this many roses for rings and necklaces :giggle:

These are lovely! I can definitely see this being a "signature" line for you and can picture bigger versions as bracelets etc!
