So my brother in law is getting married and I told him I would do some work for him as his presents. Free of charge, I would pay for mats and everything.......big mistake. Well 2 months later I am finally done with 9 rings, 1 necklace and 1 bracelet. whew! I still have one necklace to make but it is a thank you for MY mother for doing the embroidment on 200 napkins for the rehearsal dinner at my request because I planned that for them since my husbands mother is under a lot of pressure since the wedding is at HER house. So without further ado the 3 turquoise rings......(There will be many posts)

Very pretty pieces - the simplicity of the designs showcase the stones beautifully.

Thanks guys! You would never believe how hard it was to find rough turquoise that wasnt drilled. I had about 10 sketches for the turquoise ones and these are the three that won out. I think the top one is my fav too, I bought 12 pieces of the rough too so I think I will make one to keep for myself

Wow!

You really have been working hard! Beautiful work; really love the setting on the first one. The balls are really cool and look great with the turquoise.

Its my fav too and most everyone else who sees them. I was inspired my a "diamond in the rough" ring I saw. I actually dont think the bride cares for this one though, just a feeling I get.

I know! You give a person an inch and they take a yard. I think he realizes how much he asked for. If not for my husband I would have told his brother to chalk up some dough! I did manage to (with the help of his mother and bride) talk him out of 9 sets of cufflinks as well. We were like are you having your guys wear French cuff shirts cause if not they are never going to wear these! I mean really how many guys do you know that actually dress up let along own a French cuff shirt!
