Kristi ~ hope you can get the smaller mask soon. After all, it's supposed to help you sleep, not make it worse. And I hope your foot surgery goes well and that you can enjoy your time off propped up on the couch and using all those beading supplies you're collecting to have around you >> smart lady. Congratulations on that sale. Wow! As soon as you make them, they're gone. I love your new coin necklace. The lampwork and red beads really bring out the richness of the coins. Beautiful.

I've been learning to work with wire and recently made this bracelet (brass wire). It's comprised of simple s links, but to me it looks like ocean waves.

Thanks Skye, if only they all sold so quickly. There are some items that have been re-listed I don't know how many times, guess I need to find a way to clear them out! I have a show in September, have to make sure I have enough stuff for that, then Christmas....wow!

I hope I get my new mask before my surgery because I think I'm supposed to wear it.

Your wire work is great Skye, I like that Waves bracelet!!

This is my second time typing this out, there was a glitch the first time and I lost it all lol

Surgery October 5th. I have structural issues that I got from my mom. Our ankles collapse in and so all the tendons and stuff on the inner ankle are torn. I've been wearing these monsterous orthotics for years but that's not helping much any more. I can how go without an orthotic on the foot I had surgery on. He'll fix the tears and also actually cut my heel bone off and move it in so I stand more upright. It's a very difficult surgery and feet are very difficult anyway so if it's like my other one it'll be a good 2 years before I feel I'm really feeling the full improvement. Last time I only took off about 4 days before going back to work part time and I had terrible painful swelling, I'm not going through that again, I learned my lesson, I'm planning on 4 weeks off this time!

Walking used to be my major form of exercise but not for the last 3 years or so, I hope to get back to that again, my husband and dogs will like it too!

This version was much shorter, go figure :yelclap:

Kristi ~ so sorry to hear you've suffered from that terrible condition. I'll be sending you prayers and thoughts that the operation goes well and that you're walking again soon. I'm glad you're giving yourself 4 weeks off to heal ... and that you'll be surrounded by your beads.

Kesa ~ I'm really not sure what the wire is. Maybe it's just gold colored. I know it's inexpensive or Penny wouldn't have given me what was left of a whole roll of it. I'm thinking about making a copper one next.
