I want to tell you some funny things I went through to create 'Caeterle' earrings! I looked, every where I could to read up on YOU! Every turn, including your cool Blog, had pictures of your furry little family. I tried to graph out a picture of a black cat (harder then working with just whites, mind you) and even finished three rows of a pair of earrings in 15/0 seeds, but felt they may be too wide. I then went surfing on the web for some carved or interesting looking cat beads..I purchased more then I think I will ever use but I am a 'hands' on shopper, even if it is in my own home! Remeber the other cat earrings I made, with the 'tubes under the cat'? These were a possible 'Caeterle' style, but I thought I would keep going with other ideas. The next pair had a 'cat dangle' below a bead tube. I thought these were too long for you. So I guess you got my 'final try'....

Now, for the funniest part of this story. I sent the other pairs, not sent to you, Cat, over to the store where my work is displayed/sold...they were snapped up and I even got a call for another pair of the 'cat sitting on the bead tube'...Wow, I did't realize the number of 'cat lovers' out there....I am convinced and will always include a cat in every earrings display in the stores, for now on!!!

Thanks for the gorgeous crochet brass wire earrings! I love them so much!

I'm up but not awake! Erin, Dawn, Cat and Co (so sorry, trying to remember everyone) you have summed up the swap beautifully - it has been a pleasure and so much fun.

Unfortunately, we are now in lock down mode - so until the next swap where we can do it all again, this baby is now being closed.
