The title made you look didn't it? :laff:

everyone's talking about the new New Moon movie, i thought i'd make something that resembles a new moon. i'm such a sell out! :laff:

so here it is, my new necklace, made of argentium silver with sterling silver chain. took me a while to think of what to fill the blank space between the heart and the crescent frame then i decided on this squiggle copper. all wire is hammered flat!

i love the outcome, i think it's really romantic and will be a perfect wedding jewelry :)

the stones are garnet and rock crystal. i deliberately picked the milky-ish rock crystal briolette cos i thought it worked better than the clear ones.

this is just gorgeous. I'm always impressed with wirework. I love how you have used bold elements but still kept it feminine. Great job!

I love the classical look.
You are right about the milky white drop a clear one wouldn't have had the same impact.

thank you Carina :D i admit i was a bit bummed when the rock crystal strand came as a mix of milky-ish and clear brios. but i'm now glad that it did! the clear ones just got lost on the skin.. :D

It's a gorgeous piece! I love how you incorporated the copper and how you "attached" it to the silver. Beautifully done!

Oh my, what a beautiful necklace! I love the way you inset the garnet (my birthstone) into the heart with the rock crystal below.

Thats beautiful. I can just picture it at a night wedding, all black and white with just the necklace to sparkle. I agree about using the milkier drop. It is very dramatic.

I can't stop looking at this! It's so pretty. :) I'm no longer as big of a Twilight fan as I was when I read the first book, but your inspirations paid off.

Kay, it is gorgeous. I think the copper squigglies really enhance the design. I think this is my favorite of your designs so far...that's hard to say because I love your work!
